Tonight me and the roommates decided we needed to make some cookies. Unfortunately, no one here had eggs....
So, dilemma. I searched for a recipe that wouldn't need eggs, but at the same time, wouldn't call for a crazy egg substitute, or anything else that we didn't have in our cupboards!
Luckily, I found just the one! It was soooo easy, and they taste DELICIOUS! Not to mention they look great - really cookie shaped, and crispy but still soft, ah yummy!
Here's a sneak peak at them:
And here is a breakdown of the recipe:
3/4 C Flour
1/2 C Butter, Softened
1/2 C Oil (vegetable...)
3 TBS Water
2 tsp Vanilla
2 1/4 C Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Salt
1-1 1/2 C Chocolate Chips
Heat Oven to 375 degrees
Combine first 5 items
Then add in the rest of the items
Spoon onto greased cookie sheet, and bake for 8-10 minutes (or until golden)
**these cookies don't ever turn DARK brown, they stay a light color, but look for browning on the edges and tips to know when they're done**
Enjoy!
